Elsewither is a virtual recreation of Brooklyn club Elsewhere, that was shut down due to pandemic protocol. In early June, Knapsack performed in the block-based building game alongside his NYU collab group, Papaya & Friends, at Elsewither Academy’s String Formal. He’s still managed to perform alongside acts such as Hannah Diamond and Phoebe Bridgers (in Minecraft) and party with the likes of Laura Les (on Zoom). The 19-year-old bedroom producer is quarantining for the summer far from his college campus at NYU, but he assures me that the pandemic has hardly affected his musical process. “The buzz of a lifetime is coming,” Knapsack announces over Zoom from his parent’s Midwestern home in the Chicago suburbs.
KNAPSACK MINECRAFT MOD
It cannot be opened without going through the inventory screen, unlike the backpacks from the Backpack mod when they're equipped. When equipped, a new tab shows up on the GUI which opens a secondary inventory within the knapsack, similar to the backpacks crafted in the Backpacks mod.
KNAPSACK MINECRAFT UPDATE
Update 1.3.5 to Tinkers' Construct included knapsacks, which can be equipped in the appropriate slot. It has currently only two purposes: heart canisters and backpack on the trinket slot in the bottom right. This GUI allows for certain additional equipment to be added. The Armor GUI is a new tab found in the inventory that is added by Tinkers' Construct.
